Description

The GenV External Wastegate from Turbosmart was a ground up rework of a classic and the only feature that rolled over from the Gen4 range was the mounting orientation. CFD optimized and validated in-house for maximum flow and thermal management, the GenV range has more features, options and performance than any other gate like it.

A direct fit upgrade to all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates and feature our unique collar-locking system, variable actuator cap and base for easy, 360 degree optional routing of reference hoses, strap-type V-band clamps, optional liquid-cooling provision and 1/8″ NPT reference ports.

What makes this a HP (High Pressure) Gate?
The unique actuator housing is slightly taller than a normal GenV gate and this allows for taller, high pressure spring options. The normal GenV actuator housings have been made as small and low profile as they can be, while still offering base pressure options up to 26psi – High than that and you’ll want a HP version.
Can I upgrade my existing GenV 40 or 45mm Wastegate to HP specification?
Yes. The part number TS-0550-3109 does just that, allowing you to upgrade either a CompGate40 or HyperGate45 to HP spec. The only limitation is we’re only making the HP option in Black, so while it will physically fit on any colour, the top cap will have to be black if you’re after HP features.
Can I upgrade an earlier generation Wastegate to HP?
Unfortunately No. The GenV architecture is unique as it was a ground-up development and has no parts in common with the previous version.
What spring(s) come with the conversion part number, TS-0550-3109?
You will get a 10psi inner spring and a 35 psi outer spring. This is the same combination when buying a full HP product off the shelf.
What spring options does the GenV HP range have?
You effectively have 5 options; 10psi, 25psi, 35psi, 40psi & 50psi with the use and combination of just 3 springs. And remember, this is just base mechanical spring pressure. Much higher levels of boost can be achieved with some type of boost control or reference manipulation.
Are all the springs in the box?
Almost – While the 10psi & 25psi come pre-fitted in the gate, there is an optional 40psi spring available as an accessory.
How much boost can the GenV HP Gates handle?
How much you got? All setups are different and to answer this question, it’s best to acknowledge how much exhaust back pressure impacts boost control. On an efficient setup, you should be able to achieve between 2 and 3 times the base mechanical spring pressure. However, if you’re really working a turbo, efficiency tends to drop off and back-pressure rises making things a lot harder. It really does come down to your combination.
Do I need to use the Water Cooling?
Not necessarily. The Water cooling feature is there simply as an option. The GenV architecture provides class-leading thermal management so it’s our experience most users will never need it. Its there in case you’re one of the chosen few finding the limits though.
What size are the reference fittings?
Both the boost control reference ports and the (Optional) liquid cooling ports are 1/8NPT. We have a range of AN adapters and high temp push-lock fittings available in the Spates and Accessories Tab.
Can I rotate the top housing?
Yes. The modular design of the GenV Range of External Wastegates means you can rotate the actuator housing 360 degrees, for virtually unlimited hose routing options.

Skunk2’s cast-aluminum Pro Series Intake Manifolds for Honda’s B-series engines are a direct-fit replacement for all B-series engines thanks to three separate flange designs and are compatible with all factory sensors and throttle bodies as large as 75mm. Pro Series Intake Manifolds offer horsepower and torque gains greater than competitors’ manifolds but without compromising mid-range power output. The design incorporates specially tapered runners as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end power gains. Pro Series Intake Manifold runner exits are also machined to best match the cylinder head’s ports. Skunk2’s newly designed Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold was designed with “street enthusiasts” who utilize turbochargers as small as the factory unit in mind and want more power without sacrificing mid-range performance. Skunk2’s all-new, cast-aluminum Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold—which was tested and developed on the company’s own Evo Time Attack race car—is a direct-fit replacement and offers significant horsepower and torque gains without compromising mid-range power output. Conventional large-plenum, short-runner intake manifolds provide top-end power gains but suffer in the mid-range. Not Skunk2’s. Its all-new Pro Series Intake Manifold features OEM-length runners with larger bores and a special tapered design as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end gains. Peak gains as high as 33+ whp have been realized when paired with Pro Series Throttle Bodies with positive results across the board, beginning as low as 3,200 rpm. Pro Series Intake Manifolds also feature thicker castings when compared to the OEM piece, which leaves plenty of room for porting, and each runner exit is machined and hand-finished to best match the cylinder head’s ports. The Pro Series Intake Manifold’s unique design increases wave scavenging effects at the engine’s ideal operating range, which allow for a broad increase in usable power. Skunk2’s Evo Pro Series Intake Manifold is a simple bolt-on affair. Unlike other intake manifolds, Skunk2’s incorporates the factory configuration, leaving the throttle body in its original location, which means the original intercooler piping and hoses can be reused. The much anticipated Ultra "Street" Intake Manifold for the '02-'05 Civic Si and '02-'06 RSX/ RSX Type S, and/ or any swap using the K20A/ K20A2/ K20Z1/ K24A1 engines or cylinder heads has finally arrived! The Ultra Series is years of research and development, culminated in a multi-piece cast aluminum intake manifold that offers advantages that only a modular design could allow. Using the latest in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software; Skunk2 Racing has created a two-piece modular design that allows for easy disassembly, porting, and plenum volume changes through the use of a removable plenum lid and optional plenum spacers. In addition to CFD testing, the Ultra Series Intake Manifold has undergone extensive in-house dyno testing which has led to a design that is less restrictive, yielding both torque and power gains well over many of the competitors. Skunk2 Racing Ultra Street Intake Manifolds are cast-aluminum, manufactured from high-grade 356 aluminum alloy for strength and lightweight. Each manifold is CNC-machined for a precise fit, and individually inspected for quality assurance. The Ultra Series Street manifold features a generous 71mm throttle body opening and is constructed with thick walls at entry, minimizing concerns of breakthrough when port matching. Intense planning and design went into the plenum to distribute even airflow to all four cylinders under dynamic load conditions.
