Description
Built specifically for K-Series cars competing in the SFWD / AWD classes, this 1400HP+ rated air-to-air intercooler combines our MASSIVE 6″ thick, 1-piece core with trick smooth-flowing endtanks to ensure optimum flow over the entire intercooler core surface. Our unique intercooler design allows you to achieve maximum cooling effectiveness with a smaller package than traditional air-to-air intercoolers, opening up valuable space in both front corners of the vehicle for other components that would otherwise be occupied by intercooler piping. The offset-height endtanks make this intercooler perfect for K-Series centerfeed or side outlet intake manifold setups. The endtanks are carefully hand-formed from H-3 5052 aluminum and fully TIG welded in house.
This intercooler core is efficiently cooling intake air temperatures for many cars currently in competition, generating very high boost levels in excess of 50+ psi.
Our K-Series SFWD / AWD intercooler comes standard with bead rolled 3″ inlet & 3.5″ outlets, which we have made short in length to accommodate a tighter clearance piping setup.
All units ship complete with the SpeedFactory logo stenciled on the face of the core and come with M8x1.25mm aluminum mounting bungs already attached for easy installation

Centered around the highly efficient Rotrex C38-81 Supercharger, the Kraftwerks Supercharger kit produces impressive results throughout the entire power band. While unlike any other forced induction system, the Kraftwerks supercharger system provides a linear power curve, torque on demand, cooler operating temperatures, and total drivability. The Kraftwerks supercharger system provides instant throttle response and a progressive power curve that increases all the way to redline without the typical 'spiking' or 'surging' associated with turbochargers. This unique, more usable power curve results in reduced cylinder pressures, less strain on engine components, and increased reliability. Rotrex superchargers also operate much cooler when compared to turbochargers and other supercharger systems, which reduces the engine’s intake air temperature as well as its risk of detonation. Rotrex superchargers are renowned for their compact size, high adiabatic efficiency, low vibration, and quiet operation. Sealed ball bearings, a precision machined throttle plate and a honed oversized bore insures smooth operation on the most aggressive naturally aspirated and forced induction applications.
Fitment:
| Designed for the 2012-15 Civic Si with stock manifold and throttle body. The intake requires relocating the battery in front of the transmission to the intake pipe to get behind the bumper. This kit requires the change of the factory clutch line. This can be done with our clutch line kit KTD-CLK-001 or either of our CMC kits. | Fitment:
